918 - Encontros Memoráveis da Música: Bono Vox e Damien Rice

Um encontro especial entre os cantores e compositores Bono Vox e Damien Rice, grandes estrelas da música. Aconteceu em Dublin, em 18 de junho de 2012, no "Electric Burma: A Concert for Aung San Suu Kyi", que estava presente na plateia. A homenageada, a ativista política birmanesa Aung San Suu Kyi, ganhou o Prêmio Nobel da Paz em 1991, pela sua luta pacífica contra a junta militar que impôs a 50 milhões de cidadãos do Mianmar (antiga Birmânia) um regime cruel e repressivo. Ela passou quase 20 anos na cadeia, pela resistência ao regime autoritário.

O concerto foi organizado e promovido por Bill Shipsey, com toda a arrecadação indo para a Anistia Internacional e para a organização comandada por Kyi, a Daw Aung San Suu Kyi Trust for Health and Education.

As músicas tocadas pela dupla Bono e Rice foram "One" e "Walk On".
